Human Resources Representative
Salary range: $21.00 - $28.00 DOE
Job Description - To function as an experienced team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with detailed aspects of human resources and personnel activities for the credit union. Perform the following key functions for the credit union.
• Assist the VP and/or Manager of Human Resources with the overall HR related strategies.
• Conduct pre-employment screening such as criminal background, credit review, drug testing, and pre-employment testing.
• Create and maintain applicable HR related reports and tracking within third-party computer systems.
• Maintain and review compensation analysis reports, hiring/termination data, monthly Department of Labor (DOL) statistics report, and annual OSHA report.
• Assist in new employee orientation and onboarding process.
• Process long-term disability insurance and workers compensation claims.
• Act as liaison between staff, credit union, and third-party organizations and agencies.
• Assist with biweekly payroll processing as directed.
• Assist staff with salary, compensation, and benefits related questions.
• Assist with annual benefits enrollment for group health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, and other applicable benefits.
• Monitor ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA compliance activities.
• Conduct introductory training and mentoring for new staff.
• Assist other departments and branches with department related questions/issues.
Compliance – Ensure that all actions associated with department related functions are within established credit union policies and procedures and compliant with all applicable law and regulations.
Service – Provide the highest level of service to members, staff, and business partners. Identify and report any service-related concerns to management.
